St. Joe’s is working to expand its Robotic Surgery Program, and one of the biggest steps forward is bringing in the new
da Vinci 5 robot.
This technology helps perform complex cancer surgeries – from prostate and kidney to head, neck, lung, and more – with incredible precision. Each surgery requires special equipment that isn’t covered by the province, which makes community support even more important.
